MILAN KRIDA MANDAL is social welfare organization which was formed in the year 1993 and since then Lord Ganesh Festival was organized in small lane of Simla Nagar. From the year 2009, Mandal got exemption certificate of 80G from Income Tax Department and this festival is being celebrated on large scale near Malbar Apartments Gate, Simla Housecha Mahaganpati Chowk, Nepean Sea Road, Mumbai -36 which is now known as "Simla Housecha Mahaganpati".This Mandal is trying it level best to conceptualize the concept of Late Lokmanya Tilak who was freedom fighter and social reformer to celebrate the festival of Lord Ganesh for the welfare of society and to extend the help of hand in various fields to the needy class of society. Mandal have already undertaken various social projects and they have yielded very good results in our area from the establishment of the organization which has been taken a note by various eminent news papers broadcasting Media in the city of greater Mumbai.
